Maybe if our defense contractors can start selling to more sandy nations, where all the action is these days, they can quit their torrid love affair with the Pentagon. I'd love to see us save some money by taking a huge chunk out of the military budget -- and it would be nice if that could be done without causing a raft of unemployment.

And M1A1's are cool and all, but if we got cross-ways with any nation that had them, we'd just take them all out from the air before rolling in.

Problem with defense contractors is they have "all" politicians wrapped around their boot straps!

I would love to see us save a ton of money by cutting congressional pay, entitlements, and travel allowances.

Then there are politicians who can't Keep It Simple, and order stuff on behalf of the pentagon, who then must figure out how to use it. Google C-17+congress+budget.

There are two key components missing from the export version, and one deals with the armor package. Orlackthereof.
