I have only seen 5 of them. Minsc's, Jaheira(romance version), Sarevok,(didnt flip his alignment), Imoen, Nalia. I have two questions:

Is Sarevok's different if you flip his alignment, and for that matter Viconia roo.

And what 5 NPC's should I go through the game with next? Only evil person i'd ever consider taking is Viconia but I hear Keldor's ending is the best and I know they dont get along. Well let me know what you guys think.

If you are Romancing Viconia, Keldorn will not give you any trouble. I guess that this makes her temper better, as she does not fight with any party members if she is being Romanced. Be sure to keep your reputation below 19, though. It's the least you can do for the Delicious Drow.

Sarevok's and Viconia's do not change with their alignment. The only ones with two alternates are the romances: ie Viconia, Aerie, Jaheira, Anomen.

It depends. I liked all of them, except that Imoen's was a little disappointing. I'd try to get different characters, but you may be a little more restrained by party composition then by their endings

I think the good-alinged NPC endings were ok but the evil-aligned NPC endings were stupid. Come on, they all either went good or lost a big battle.

Edwin`s ending was the most annoying - He became a very powerful mage and confronted Elminster.. but Elminster turned him into a woman. Then she became an owner of a bar! How stupid can it get!?
I cant remember Keldorn`s ending. anyone care to post it? thanks

I think the whole point of Edwins ending was that he led Elminster to belive he had been defeated, then used the magic he gained from the Nether Scroll to peacefully live out the rest if his life as Edwina.

Keldorn's was especially touching. He basically went to battle once last time and won the day but suffered fatal wounds. The part about the hand of Torm picking him up in front of his troops was cool (he now sits at Torms right hand).

Yeah, Keldorn's was cool. Sarevok's was only relevent if you had played BG1. Edwin's I found...different. Nalia's was a bit dull.

Yes, I thought most of the epilogues were disapointing. The romanced Viconia one was the worst. Keldorn's was cool, jan's was atypical, the jaheira romance one was just...weird and the Aerie romance one was dull.

Viconia's may have been DISPLEASING but it fit her story.

Aerie's was boring, but in a pleasant sort of way. Ditto Anomen's.

Jaheira's was awful. It's awful in Ascension too. Because it does not fit her character, and implies some distressing things about the PC as well.

However, I will say in some small sliver of defense that, speaking from experience, writing interesting epilogues that INCLUDE the PC is very challenging because it's hard to know what the PC is really like, and how they would want to live out the rest of their days.

That's why even though I very much _like_ the in-romance epilogues I wrote for Kelsey, I actually consider the epilogues where the PC leaves him behind for godhood to be better written. In part it's more dramatic, but I also have more or less total freedom to tell the story, without worrying about breaking the player's perception of what their PC is really like (which is one of the problems with Jaheira's epilogues, particularly the Ascension version.)

But on the whole, Jaheira's epilogue needs to go. That's why she's getting new alternate epilogues in the Flirt Pack.

Uh, no.

The point of Edwin's ending is that Elminster made mincemeat of Edwin, and gave him a fate Edwin considered worse than death--subjecting him to the "indignity" of being made a woman, once again.
