Default Firefox configuration question

Can you guys tell that I have nothing to do today?

Anyway, here's another techie question. Now...I figured out how to disable the auto-completion when I begin typing in the location bar (I don't mean the google search bar, I mean FF's own location bar. I did this by about:config and then adding "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults and adding the value of 0.

However, this does not disable the location bar from suggesting out of my Favorites menu.

Any ideas?

LOL! Answered my own question. It needs to be set at -1.

Hope this helps somebody else.

In fact, you can remove your bookmarks from the bar altogether and get back to that FF2 feeling by typing in "places.frecency.unvisitedBookmarkBonus and places.frecency.unvisitedTypedBonus" and changing their values to 0.

BTW...yes, spell it frecency, not frequency.

Is it not easier to use "Most Visited" followed by "History"?

I don't have anything called Most Visited...I may have deleted it by mistake.
I can't confirm that this would do what I needed.
