I saw the notice in Durnan's and took a wander down to the new Sea Cave and the Dragonkin Halls.
My level 22 fighter got wiped out in seconds by Raga'Veross. A level 40 model I brought in could just about cope. That is one tough dragon - and he (or is it she?) is only the entrance guardian. Nice armour though. Can't wait to see the rest the rest of the Hall and the other dungeons there. |

Damn, didn't see your post here until after I'd responded to Z's - will report back with higher level characters...loading now...
*edit* We seem to have an impasse - he can't hit me, I can occasionally hit him - AC 101 good, AB 64 bad! Harm doesn't harm, IGM does but slowly - Half-dragon sorceror's keep re-spawning, luckily they're an irritation at this level and not a threat...I may be here some time... ...and that dragon's hoard is the richest yet...mmmm....gold.... Each time I hit him I get hit by flame-strike, luckily kobold are renowned for thick heads and thick skin. ...more anon

These guys are much easier with a group--have a priest healing and backup should make this a really cool dungeon!
BTW, each 'set' piece will drop from the same Dragon--a different piece each time--well, randomly..so you may get dupes along the way. These 4 huge Dungeons are DPG type areas--good hard as hell fun! ![]() And yeah, the treasure will kick major ass--once you start getting it all, they will be easier to kill. And get you ready for Undermountain level 16 and 17! ![]() |

I will agree with the group concept. Gherri helped the all mighty Ung with back up support of a 1/2 dozen or so max IGMs. and that got him down from badly to nearly dead. HE is tough!
Now If I can just figure out a way to avoid the alignment hit in Mordok......

But a dev-crit specialist with AB 71 is somewhat awe-inspiring against them all - the sight of 7 dragons falling like skittles may well be the most fun I've had in-game in 30 seconds!
Can't wait for the rest of these levels to open up.

Did anyone hang onto their Icingdeath from that last round of special gifts? If so, go check the properties and then take a vist to Raga'Veross and have a chat about who's boss...

Each Dragon has a weakness. You just gotta figure out what it is
