Nice mate! Are you guys farming now or trying to progress?

I was lucky - my guild was already farming Kara by the time I started raiding so I was able to quickly gear up with Kara gear, which made it easier to start getting the stuff from Mag/Gruul/Void.

I've finally raided bt. However since we have too much melee (6 rogues/2 fury warriors/2 druids) we can't down the 1st boss.

The gm or the raidleader will have to tell some people the "bad news" if the guild want to progress. I just hope that one of the people isn't me.

Melee/ranged doesnt make any difference on the first boss.

All it is is nuke, and there is the shield.

So not quite sure what you are on about.....Najentus is no problem with melee.

Are you sure? People keep on complaining that we couldn't do it because we have too much melee.

The only thing I can think of, is that he means you are taking too much damage from being too close together with that many melee from Needle Spine.

But its hardly an issue, and tbh, if that is what is wiping you, you're not ready for BT. Najentus is as easy as it gets.

Needle Spine - Fires a needle spine at 3 targets, most often in a cone, dealing 2890 to 3910 physical damage to them and an additional 2280 to 2520 frost damage to everyone in 6 yards of them. He uses that ability all the time, except while under the Tidal Shield and about 10 seconds after Tidal Shield bursts.

It's hardly a lethal attack.

Yeah, Our raid leader told us to stack together 3 in a group so that it's easy to pluck out the needle. However, in doing so 2 to 3 people died at the same time due to the frost damage attack.

At 80%, some of our healers went oom. Majority of the healers had to switch to their pvp gears for the stamina. Maybe that's why they oom so fast?

Our best attempt is at 38%. While I might agree we may not be ready for bt. But other guild managed to do it with only kara gears. Heck, some of our people had T5 with them. My own dps is comparable to a T5 rogue.
