Camembert is a very special person. He has achieved GRANDMASTERY in CHEESE! Years of dedicated training and learning from various books and tomes (hmm, Userunfriendly's one too - the Cheese guide) has made him the best cheeser in Faerun. And as it is the story usually when I play - it's no reloads Tactics on Insane. WHEEEE!
Warning - due to excessive cheese in this game you may find it very tempting to cheese through your games - and eventually lose some fun out of them. But cheesing is fun too, he, he ... This thread will contain many spoilers so beware! I'll try to describe the cheese used in certain situations and fights. Meet our hero: http://img97.exs.cx/img97/9649/camembert5sw.jpg He is cheesy already as being neutral - that makes him immmune to spells like Unholy Blight, Holy Might, ... This will be my pointer for cheese: The first cheese used was to get Jaheira and Minsc in party and dumping them to gain 3000XP from each. Backstabbing and avoiding are Camemberts main goals at the start: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1306/dungeon17vj.jpg http://img147.exs.cx/img147/9711/dungeon28ha.jpg Camembert was determined to kill Ilyich and there is only one way (I think) to do it with a solo F/T: setting 7 traps! (and resting of course between the setting since Camembert can set only 2 after one rest) And they must hit Ilyich before or after he uses his Rage because that gives him even more HP and then even 7 traps may not be enough. Luring Ilyich out: http://img147.exs.cx/img147/9269/dungeon33fk.jpg And it works: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/403/dungeon49mc.jpg Avoiding more patrols: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/7169/dungeon54fk.jpg and fighting the annoying mephits: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/9529/dungeon60mi.jpg The rest was easy and Camembert has done it! He was out and free! Then the 4xPotion of Master Thievery + steal + sell cheese was used. Roger the Fence was the victim for gaining a large amount of money (around 170.000) and Camembert bought himself: Aeger's hide, Vhailor's helm, Belt of Hill Giant, Defender of easthaven, Shield of Reflection, ... He also stole a lot of potions from Roger and miss Cragmoon (Bridge district) and some scrolls for from Spell Store. The next goal was to get the Shield of Harmony in Trademeet. Camembert set 3 traps (he got a couple of levels and could set 3 per day now) in front of the Genie who guarded the tent. Then he used Vhailor's helm to get a simmy which I will call Wagi for a specific reason that I have. Wagi then used a scroll of Prot from Petrification on Camembert and they destroyed the guard genie with the help from traps. Khan Zahraa was distracted with moose and nypmhs while Camemberts kicked his butt. The Shield of Harmony was secured!

This is far more interesting than some of the other stories I've heard.
Exploits are always good How does the FMT rate against the FT? |

FMT probably eats FT for breakfast.
I didn't choose to play FMT beacuse Alson has already completed SOA no reloads game. So I'll try with a FT but with a "little more" cheese in the game. (Camembert also robbed the Trademeet merchant for Belt of Inertial Barrier and other nice items - nothing cheesy here I think ) Camembert has been doing all the minor quests in Athkatla (Tanner, Slavers, Xzar, ...) and here are some pictures from other fights too: http://img138.exs.cx/img138/2272/athkatla11qa.jpg (Harm + Critical hit is not good!) http://img138.exs.cx/img138/1825/athkatla23yi.jpg (Sewer party had no chance - Confusion from Nymphs and Horror from innate ability messed their plans. Backstabs and traps did the rest (also Arrows of Dispeling!)) I repeat to myself everytime but it's still not working - DO NOT underestimate any opponent on Insane: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/3972/athkatla35bm.jpg

I forgot to add one more cheese - Bag of Holding from the start!
The next stop was Planar Prison where Haer and his friends were captured: Camembert buffed with Potion of fire Giant Strength and Oil of Speed and entered the portal: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/6769/prison14ty.jpg He summoned help from acorns but both nymphs were killed before they could cast confusion in the crowd. What followed was a lot of hiding, backstabbing, gulping of Potions of Invisibility and shooting with Arrows of Dispelling and Arrows of Biting. No cheese here just typical thief tactics. Oh, except on very cheesy summon: Improved Kitthix http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1161/prison29ri.jpg After a good rest the final attack was inevitable: Summoning my Wagi: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1981/prison36im.jpg Wagi then summoned Improved Kitthix and we all attacked the Demon and his Airy guards: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1660/prison49pt.jpg We then rushed forward to meet the Warden and our joint attacks were to much for him. Interestingly no Yuan-Ti mages appeared this time? http://img151.exs.cx/img151/6007/prison57ey.jpg Camembert du Brie is now level 10/13 Fighter/Thief: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/5143/camembert12xq.jpg

Nice going! Some nice screenshots, and you used a layout that's easy to read Screens help to realy show what your doing. Also, that's a realy cool portrait. I'm currently soloing a cleric/mage on insane, but no tactics. I intend to solo sorc my way through tactics sometime though. Anywhoo, your game looks fun, hope you don't die on your travels

Just relised, you chose a very clever name. I'm not sure what 'Camebert' means, if anything, but you are playing cheesyly, and Brei is a type of cheese French? If i'm not mistaken, and the 'Camebert Du' part sounds french. Very clever, leslie
