I just noticed that on CNN as well. If people want to find out more, try www.cnn.com.

I sure hope not...

I suspect that it was an accident, they do unfortunately occur from time to time.

The building houses the local Lombardy government, that would only likely be a terrorist target for certain domestic political groups, so I doubt that is the case.

More info out of europe (im in germany)

The pilot called the tower reporting motor damage and that he no longer had control of his plane. It was a small privat plane but looking at the pictures on tv it did alot of damage.

I certainly hope this was an accident.

Incidentally, this is how it was reprted in the Drudge Report.

A small plane flew into Milan's "Pirelli" skyscaper which lodges the offices of the Lombardy region, according to the news agency Ansa. The police did not confirm the information but said the last two floors of the building were hit by an explosion. A broker working in a building lodging the US consulate in Milan said the building has been surrounded by police and is being evacuated. The building is in the centre of Milan and about 1 kilometre away from the Pirelli building.

How bizarre!

a small plane crashed in New York shortly after Sep 11 in case you dont remember and it was just an accidnet, a few weeks later though, another plane crashed and this time it was from a teenage boy who claimed to support Osama BinLaden... I think it is best left up to the investigators before theorizing about these things...

debts and didn't seem to love live that much any more
but if it was suicide, then why go out like this, taking others with
him ? weird,weird,weird !!!!!
