You know those bunches of 99 poison arrows or bolts that you find here and there? The ones that you can get 10000 gold for in the second chapter of HoTU?
A friend of mine discovered that you can get 10000 gold for a partial set of them. Life 6 or 7. Needless to say, we've been parting them out ever since, and getting 200000+ gold where before we were getting 20000. [ 02-05-2004, 04:03 PM: Message edited by: Axordil ] |

thats because they set a cap on the amount of gold you can recieve for selling any item.
as you progress later into the game there are merchants with a 50k cap |

Right--but there's no other "item" that can be divided in this way to get around the cap.

I was using those along with diamonds to recharge the various charged items ( like gargoyl boots, rod of resurection ) with the "magic electrifier." Definatly my favorate item in the game.. Followed by the demonic grappling hand!
