I was just talking to someone from school on MSN. At school, he is a good friend, and just a *tad* annoying.

Online, though...
He sent me an email - "Recomended by"
I told him I don`t read those sorts of emails (which I don`t), and deleted it.

He sent it again. Twice.

Then, he tried to send a file transfer. I denied it, and gave a reason.
(For the record, I am atm denying all file transfers, especially executables).

He sent it again.
I denied it again.

He, with his warped sense of humour, tried to send me another file - Virus.exe
I denied it. I told him I`m not accepting any file transfers, especially not ones called virus.exe

He then proceded to send the files:

(h)(g)
Send and Recieve a Fax.lnk
Solataire.lnk
imagination.mpg
New Text Document.txt
New Text Document[2].txt

Fifty times over.

Now, I use trillian - it pops up a little new window when a file transfer wants to come through. I had to cancel about 300 file transfers (they came all at once) one by one.

This guy is going to be getting a rather heated phone call sometime tommorow, methinks.

Maybe someone wanted revenge for a mysterious couple of phone calls
How did that go by the way?

Different person.
Jarrad, Michael and Josh have all forgiven me now for the calls... I think.

When it happens though that some people who barely know me start asking me to do the strangest things, I start to wonder just whose idea it was...

A heated phonecall? If you know this person IRL, then just calmly talk to him at school and convince him to stop. Yelling at him over the phone is just going to make him angry and make him want to continue this little game of his.

Not heated as in yelling, heated as in a "talking to"
I`d try to talk to him at school, except he is often very hard to get without having atleast 5 people around him who will drone me out...

Lennon, you could always place that person on your blocked userslist if he's really that much of a pest... Within trillian, just go to the general preferences and select the privacy part of MSN in the menu. I still have 8 alter ego's of you in that list, if you still recall that situation from several months back...

Grojlach has the right sort of idea.
I use that for really annoying people, block them for a week and if it continues make it perminant.
