I've been toying around with a build and I would like to get some more input for the ever helpful EFU group.
The build is a shaman type build and I'm torn in which direction really to go. I initially was looking at a 1/2 orc thief ( 2) / cleric ( 21) / wiz (17) ( he is built and just starting out in the EFU) Unglaublich Verwustung has given some really good views on it : Vruugash Vrilg, Icebear clan shaman, Murghôm region Half-Orc, Chaotic Neutral, Raven Familiar, Cleric (Healing/Destruction), Wizard (Evocation) Str 18, Dex 12, Con 14, INt 14, Wis 8, Cha 6 First 4 ability increases go to Int, remainder to Str Skillpoints go in Heal, Lore, Spellcraft, Concentration, Taunt, Intimidate, Tumble, remembering to chuck at least one each in Disable Traps and Open Locks (do skill dumps when not cross-classed e.g. Taunt and Intim. when Barbarian levels etc) - you will have spare skillpoints to use where you wish Lvl Guide: Barbarian: 1 - 4, 15 - 20, 29-33, 40 Wizard: 5 - 10, 25 - 28, 34 - 39 Cleric: 11 - 14, 21 - 24 Eö Elensar, Sildêyuir wild-elf tribal shaman Elf, Chaotic Neutral, Raven Familiar, Cleric (Healing/Destruction), Wizard (Evocation) Str 12, Dex 13, Con 14, INt 16, Wis 11, Cha 6 Ability increases at appropriate level: Int: 4, 8, 16, 20 Dex: 12, 24, 32 Con: 28, 38 Str: 40 Skillpoints go in Heal, Lore, Spellcraft, Concentration, Taunt, Intimidate, Tumble, remembering to chuck at least one each in Disable Traps and Open Locks (do skill dumps when not cross-classed e.g. Taunt and Intim. when Barbarian levels etc) - you will have spare skillpoints to use where you wish as before Lvl Guide: Cleric: 1 - 4, 15 - 20, 29-33, 40 Wizard: 5 - 10, 25 - 28, 34 - 39 Barb: 11 - 14, 21 - 24 Where I'm really having an issue is which direction to lean towards in the spell casting realm ; Cleric or wizard ( yes I know there is druid but I'm trying to keep it between these 2). I feel that a shaman is more divine based with some magic ability but Iwould like someone to be able to handle the undermountain. Any and all help, hints, views, opinions would be greatly appreciated and just trying something a little different.

This may seem mean, but if you want to survive lvl 14 don't faff around with multi-classed spell-casters. Even my cleric got body-bagged dozens of times.
I might've been tempted by the Barbarian/wizard/Pale Master option, forget the cleric bit. There are some juicy stat increases for pale masters. Watch out for your base attack bonus up to lvl 20, fighter types get +1 per lvl others don't! And don't forget those extra skill points at first lvl. |

There is always that sinking moment with spellcaster builds when you hit it with everything you have and it still keeps coming at you.
Pale Master levels help a lot. But it's like taking too much monk in a build. You don't get hit often and you and up fighting a draw. |
