Doh! I know I know shame on me. But I still have relatives to visit and have "Christmas" with tomorrow. A few are just cousins that rarely get me anything, so I don't feel guilty re-gifting. Hey I have a lot of really high quality chocolate candies I was given (I love chocolate don't get me wrong, just I don't eat sweets anywhere near as much as I used to). What do yall think about re-gifting? Good or bad? LOL, just for FYI, I personally could care less if a person takes a gift I give them and re-gifts it to someone else, hey my job is done, I got them a gift, what they do with it afterwards is their business LOL. But that's just me.

I'm also re-gifting a big bottled candle for my Aunt. Again, don't feel guilty. Two years ago she got me a bottled candle that was green and I swear it smelled like toilet bowl cleaner, it was hideous (bet it was a re-gift!). At least my re-gift candle to her this year is a pear one, much nicer. LOL, a friend of mine told me the other day "why don't you since it's been two years, and you haven't burnt the toilet bowl candle, and it is still in "mint" (I wish it smelled like mint!) condition, rewrap it and give it to her this year for Christmas LOL. And say "Oh I thought you liked that fragrance!"

I know I am horrible LOL condemn me with your cruel text!

Try to cash it in Conan! Lots of places let you just cash in gift certificates LOL! Not that I've ever done anything like that or anything..

I've never regifted, but I wouldn't care if someone regifted something I liked.

(Reminds me of the story about the gift that made the rounds of the family years back...)

We re-gift all the candy that they give us at the office, since we don't eat candy.

Whats wrong with re-gifting, if you receive something you can't use or don't want....why not give it to someone who may be able to make use of the item? I don't see anything wrong with it....unless you re-gift it to the person who gave it to you int he first place
