I've got the game but..

I've got a few question.

1. I've spend nearly $1200 on a ATI Radeon 128 mb. should I download the driver? the game run fine and no crash yet.

2. Is it just me or is it the walk and run speed is way to slow?

3. when the game say open ended, does it mean I can do anything? Like killing everything on sight, be a mass murderer or something like that ?

yeah the speed seems really slow when u first play it..but u get used to it...

as long as the driver thats running it is a DX 8.1 compliant driver, then you have no reason to download another one. [img]smile.gif[/img]

hmmm..the super slow walk/run speed is really irritating me. I'm beginning to wonder whether I wasted $1200 for a crap game.

Look around, there are plug-ins accelerating the walking speed. They come in every flavor: character only, char and NPCs etc... I don't remember where i saw them though.

your speed can increase in time as you level up if you want...or use spells/enchant/improve your athletics skill...

cheating? you mean by taking advantage of infinite money bug and then train your skill and rest when being told and when wake up you get level up and then assign points to stats?

err..now how do I know about that?

dont need an infinate money bug to do that
just sell a bunch of daedric weapons or golden saint souls

and if you want to run REEEELY fast...without cheating...and without having to level up a ton...well theres some boots for you

Find pemenie on the road between gnaar mok and caldera; do her quest or kill her; you get boots of blinding speed, they add 200 speed to your char but they blind you 100% (makes your screen really dark) so youll need a light source or spell or some sort to make your screen brighter; or you could always just turn up your gamma correction.

a 400 dollar geforce 3 is faster than that ati? I own an ati Radeon AIW DDR was just curious as to why you would go with the 128 and not a geforce3/4?
