I am playing the game with three different parties and I am trying to use as many of the NPCs as possible. Unfortunately, I can only use 15 of the 16 NPCs so for my good mage party I have to pick between Nalia and Cernd for the last party member. Who would you take? No one seems to use Cernd but spells like insect swarm and heal spells are pretty useful.
The party is going to be: Keldorn Mazzy Yoshimo My Mage Anomen Cernd or Nalia Who fits better? |

The problem with Cernd is that he can only reach lvl 14 unless you have the exp cap removed. That is why I never have him in my party. But Nalia, on the other hand, SUX!!! My advice, get Aerie. She´d be the perfect addition, because you already have magical and clerical competence in your party. So she´s the best backup spellcaster you can get.

...and then, use Cernd in your neutral party. I´m sure Aerie is in there, so just replace her with the Druid.(He´s true neutral - FITS)

It depends whether you want druid spells as well as cleric spells in your party. But I agree that Nalia really sucks

I'll agree with mitsos! Both of them suck

I think this comes down to what type of spells you want. Personally I think Cernd's character is very weak, unless you keep him in werewolf mode all the time, and he can't cast spells like that. If you want Druid spells, take Jaheira.
I also agree that Aerie would be a better addition than Nalia as a mage. She would also give you backup Cleric spells. If I HAD to choose, I'd take Nalia despite the fact that I don't like her personality (stuck up wench that she is). |

Is it possible to fall in love with Nalia? Nalia should be better than Aerie? | Zoltan | Baldurs Gate II Archives | 10 | 08-17-2001 09:06 PM |
