The Planar Sphere is driving me nuts. I've been stuck on the battle with the halfling warriors and the halfling mages for ages. Has anyone got any strategies for this fight? I keep getting killed and there's no way to resurrect anyone because I can't leave the sphere and go to a temple.

My Jaheira and Aerie can raise dead. J is a lvl 11 druid, and I think Aerie is lvl 9.

Summon a Fire Elemental, if you can...
What level is your Jaheira? If she can summon Fire Elementals, kiss your Halflings problems goodbye. This is because Fire Elementals require a +2 or better weapon to injure, so the thing is immuned to the Halfling weaponary, and will only suffer damage from spells. |

My party:
1) Myself (mage) 2) Minsc 3) Jaheira 4) Anomen 5) Valygar 6) Jan (to be replaced by Imoen) I didn't know about the fire elemental trick, so I might just try that....thanks btw

Here is what I would do:
Have Minsc and Valygar(w/ protections) hack at em, have JKaheira cast her Call Woodland Beings, have Anomen start fighting, once peeps are distracted w M and V, have Jan use his basher bruiser whatevers to try to stun the guys, and have your mage cast lotsa spells. ------------------ Sword Saint of the HADB Clan Waitress and entertainer at Cloudy's Cafe Lil' Angel

One more...
How about having an invisible character move to just out of sight range of the Halflings and cast Cloudkill (as many as you can) just at the edge of visual range. Important that the halflings can't see the casting characters. The halfling fighter types will probably run forward, but are easy on their own.
