I just picked up the DD because RPGs are my favorite PC games (been playing Age of Empires 2, but RTS' just don't hold my interest as much). Anyway, I've been surfing the Web and there were some posts concerning major bugs and crashes in this game. Does anyone know if the latest patch has fixed these problems? Have any of you who have played run into significant problems with bugs? Where can i get the latest patch? Thanks!

I tried Larian's sight twice but for some reason the patch kept getting hung up in the downloading process. Then I went to Gamesdomain and for some reason the download went smoothly. Thanks for the adive.

I didn't install the patch and I got no problems so far.

IIRC, the patches went a long way toward correcting some scripting problems (where you could blow a quest by doing something out of order) and correcting some general errors. Wouldn't hurt to apply them, IMHO. I did. But then again, I like to play patched games.
