Help on Swords with Magical Features

Can someone please explain to me the special magical features of my three swords?

First sword: Fiend Kantana – Bound Longsword for 60 seconds on self and Fire Shield 3 points for 10 seconds on self. Charge: 55. What benefit do I get with the bound longsword feature? Also, the charge on this sword never goes down. Does this mean the Bound Longsword feature is not working? If so, how do I utilize the feature? It did say cast when strikes. Does the Fire Shield only protect me from fire damage?

Second sword: Sword of White Woe – Drain Health 1 to 10 points for 30 seconds. Charge: 500. I think this drain health feature is working since the charge is going down. Is there any way I know for sure? The charge is going down way too fast though. Usually, after a battle or two, the charge goes down from 500 to less than 50. I am sure I haven’t hit 400 times during one or two battles. Or does the charge is based on how many health points this sword has drained from the enemy.

Third sword: Steel Claymore of Hewing – Fortified Long Blade 7 points for 30 seconds on self. Again, I don’t think the Fortified Long Blade 7 points feature is working because my Long Blade skill did not increase. I did make a point to check my stat during a battle. My Long blade skill was still the same.

equip it, then press right mouse button to activate it. OR, press R then press left mouse button.

do you see that 30 seconds? it means it will spend some charges per second for the health thing to work.

Don't having any idea about 1 if it is actualy a cast when strike weapon.

#2 is going down fast becuase your enchant skill is low. The charge used is based on the strength of the spell, your intelligence, and the your enchant skill.

#3 is (if I remember correctly) a cast when used item. So it won't go down in charge until you use it.
