He works for Galactus who isn't very nice. He is a slave to him though so in the comics eventually he was set free.

Well I am looking forward to the next Batman, whenever it's released since I loved Batman Begins. I wasn't a fan of the latest Superman flick though I felt it lacked any real reason for being other than rehashing the old story.

Great news ... Silver surfer was the best! his character was so deep (for a young boy reading comics) they better treat his character with respect or ..or ... or else!
