I just bought volume one of Tad Williams´Otherland. Anybody has read all 4 volumes? How did you like it?

I am only halfway through the second volume and am finding it outstanding.

It is very confusing it the start (first half of the first volume), but things get sorted out as you read on. I enjoy the incredible mix of technothriller, cyberpunk, fantasy, mythology and SF.

I have read all 4 of them and found them to be quite good. The last one was slightly disappointing, but overall I highly recommend the series.

Overall I liked the books though it seemed that each one dragged in at least one part. The concept for these books was indeed novel and I would recommend it to others. The ending was somewhat of a disappointment. I t may have been because I had so much time invested in the series that I was just expecting more. After saying that I would suggest The Dragonbone Chair and To Green Angel Tower as a better read.
