Has anyone read books by this author or in this series? I'm thinking of buying them but would like to hear some opinions first.

Found the writing and plot very simplistic. I just couldn't suspend my disbelief , I read Dawnthief but I couldn't bring myself to purchase any follow ons. Can't give a blow by blow description as to why I disliked it so much right now since its a while since I've read it , but I'll go home this evening and read a chapter perhaps that will refresh my memory. After which I'll post a more complete review. But my current advice would be to avoid purchase if at all possible.

I bought Dawnthief and AVOID IT, its utterly pitiful some times you get the feeling of perhaps there a good idea in there somewhere but its either ripped off or done better elsewhere. That and the whole thing about the author cant think of a charceter name and calls someone the unknown warrior so they can be mysterious in that boring and stupid macho way angers me. Infact the whole book is full of macho posturing and that appears to be its whole point. By the time you get to the end of the book you half feel like killing yourself through boredom and ennui. GO back to the first sentance and take a hint now.
