Bandwidth Increased 2 times! (Less lag!)

Just upgraded my pipe to a full 1Mb connection up, so you should see a big speed/ping diff now. I will eat the extra cost, so we won't need extra cash per month for donations. It'll stay at $200.

This connection should easily handle 18 people in EfU with no lag--minus the server's CPU resources, which I am about to post some info on upgrading our server. We're looking at this:


Dual P4 MB
2 3.0 Gb Xeons
2 10,000RPM Raptor drives Raid 0
2 Gig of HyperX Ram

The rest, I have. [img]smile.gif[/img] With the above, shit..... we're talking a 2000% increase in performance guys. BUTTER! WARM BUTTER!

WOOHOO Z!! I popped in to check it out and had a issue with the modified shortcut, remember it. Here is the code:

I gave me an error saying that the server address was invalid. It has always worked, and only today gave me an error. Any ideas??

I think the shortcut is working again Z... could have just been a glitch on my end.

So far as I can tell, the little bit of playing ive been doing... Lag seems to be on the cpu side as you mentioned up above.

The mod seems to be running a lot cleaner. [img]smile.gif[/img]
