Well on was on my way to that shrine place but couldnt find my way. So i was looking aroud where my map said it was and i came across a living tree! After he talked i attacked him. It was taking to long to kill him so i ran. Soon after i found my way and for a griffes in front of the shrine. is there a way to get around this guy without a fight...i didnt know the answer so i had to fight the first time...i got his life really low then i turned to stone. The fight was long and i want to avoid it if possible. Is it?

The only way to avoid the fight with Mystic Sphinx is to answer his questions.
They are not too difficult indeed! I'm sure, you can answer him  And you know, Living Tree and Sphinx are so rare things that Greenpeace will be after you if you kill both or even one of them ------------------ Sincerely Yours, Tanda |

Since you allready turned it to stone use spells to kill it for the experance points.
