I have said the special word to the dragon who I encounter out and about in the forest, but he always ignores me and continues to fry me. Yes, I've selected the key word from the list. What is going on with this? Thanks.

You have to catch him at home...he won't listen to you until you talk to him in Dragon Spire.
In the meantime, break out with the marshmallows and tuck any long hair up under your helms. : ) Moni |

You will need to visit him in his lair which is in the cave past the Bronze Dragon. Good luck.

Everyone always picks on the poor dragon. Did you ever think that the reason he does not respond to you the way you want, and tries to fry you whenever he sees you is cause every 5 minutes some group of the same onld rogues, warriors, wizzards, and preists comes up to him and tries to steal his sword!? Maybe he acts the way he does because he is fed up with all these little pests bugging the crap out of him every 5 minutes!! So, stop picking on the dragon, and maybe you will get what you want from him!

I just wanted to advocate for the poor dragon... I see so many people complain that HE is not doing what he is supposed to be doing. Gotta stick up for the little guy is all (no matter how big he ACTUALLY is!) Not directed at anyone specifically.
