I just purchased W&W and was wondering if I should wait for the patch to come out to start it. I have heard so much about bugs and am concerned that I will get stuck midway or something. Game crashes don't bother me much. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been playing on & off for a couple of weeks and haven't had any major problems. One or two minor graphical glitches, but you can always reload your games.

I haven't had that much trouble with bugs. Just be sure to keep a few saved games close behind you, because inventory items might disappear (happened to me once) or your characters might get stuck and can't move. And don't put the vampire ring on.

I've been playing with the help of ALL the kind people at this forum, and have avoided virtually all the major bugs, up to Ishad N'ha. It's playable if you're careful. For starters, don't sell anything to anyone except the weaponsmiths (selling stuff to other stores may change their inventory to the weaponsmith's inventory). Good luck! (And don't change your wizard to warlock too soon! Get all those Stone spells first!)
