Usually this doesn't happen but it did this time.
Ok, I did the first half of the tanner quest and got to the cellar, right? I had to fight these ghouls and runs assasins, and there was that mage dude. My party did MAJOR damage to him, and a second later, another rune assasin pops up, and so does a bone golem! Does this ever happen to anybody? It never happened to me before, is it a bug?

Willard,

if you visit the cellar a week or two after sending the tanner packing you'll usually find an assassin and/or a bone golem in residence. Maybe they decided not to wait

I think that's normal, that always happens to me. I think the second assasin is hiding in shadows initially, and I think the wizard is supposed to summon the bone golem, though I've killed the wizard right off the bat before (power word kill) and the golem still came.

How did you deal damage to the mage? He always disintegrates himself right after you enter the place.

I think its XP-related ...
Just like the Shade-dungeon (Umar-hills quest), at high lvls its like a few gods made a bet on how many liches you can stuff together in one dungeon ....
