You are forced to bring Sarevok back to life near the beginning of the game, and yes, he is evil (but an incredible fighter ). You and Aerie can have a baby if you had this romance in SoA.

And even though Sarevok is Chaotic evil, he will not hurt your reputation, because he is committed to you through sort of a geas.
I have himm in my party with the rep. of 20.

Cool! It's a pity I dont have room for him. I'd dump minsc, but I like him as a character. Keldorn has the Holy Avenger with the eye of tyr welded on the back now (which, in short, is awesome). Aerie may get the sack in leiu of Nalia, and Imoen has to stay...because..well...it fits the story better.

Yeah, You will want Imoen to stay...she may have some small surprises for you (wink, wink).
As for Sarevok...I dropped Minsc unwantingly...but now I am ever so grateful I did! With his already available Mastery in Two-handed swords, you give him the Silver Sword, and he will be your new best friend. I have grand-mastered him on a Cross bow now, just in case someone is dying and he cannot get there in time to save them, he can shoot from afar. Let me tell ya, he is the one I can depend on to jump into a pit of monsters, and come out almost untouched. With some good armor and special items I have given him, he can almost solo his way to the end.
He has a special attack that will just leave you drooling.
I even noticed that he cheated death once, since I have began. We were all fighting, and I let him run off to do his thing to the ugliest and biggest monster there, while I focused on other problems. He got knocked down to 0 HP, but then he says (as he was dying).."grrr...I refuse!...", and he jumped back up to 1 HP! That gave me enough time to run over there and aid him. (plus he chugged a couple super healers). That does not happen all the time, but it did once, and I am sure he can cheat death again. He is so fun!

Wow, that is really cool! (esp. the "I...refuse!.." thing). But drop Minsc? Ugh, no dice. I just can't do it.

In addition, his evilness just doesn't seem to 'fit', and I know that everyone else in the party wouldn't be keen on it.

i ended up dropping anomen for sarevok. i had so many misgivings about it, but was finally convinced by my bf.

there are 2 ways to bring him back. i chose the way that didn't involve him taking a piece of my soul *lol*. talk about interaction!!! omigod, he has gone from chaotic evil to chaotic good! and he loves chatting with the person who offered up a piece of her soul. yesterday, they got to talking about running thru fields of flowers!!!! *rofl* it's priceless, simply priceless!

and he really can kill things!

V**V

I dumped Minsc, Saravok eats him for breakfast. Its not that I didnt like Minsc, but well picking up Saravok also seems to go with the story. Why else would he be there?

Sarevok is awesome. He seems kind of changed by his death experience too, not as bloodthirsty. Still evil, of course, but workable. Funny dialogue with Korgan!
