I have never played paper and pen RPG`s, and though the rules of this game are easy; there´s something that I need to ask.
My current party is perhaps the most popular one; Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc, Dynaheir and my character´s a ranger. are there chances of finishing the game with these, and does it make sense to dual class Imoen? I don´t think this is a spoiler, because I don´t want to play the game to the last chapter and find out that the group isn´t working. Im currently in chap3, and collecting experience points from the woods. What do you think is the best tactic to get rid of Kobold Commandos in Firewine Bridge dungeon?

There is every chance of finishing the game with this party
In fact if you plan on going on to BG2 than this is the party that will fit in with the story. By all means experiment with NPC's and find out who and what best fits your playing style. As for the kobolds (nasty critters they are when they don't stop coming) take in Dynaheir with a lightning or fireball wand, fry the %#@&ers, and move through before they can regroup. Hope this helps ya! BTW welcome to IW

Yep, that's a great well-rounded party But feel free to experiment with various NPC's you run into. Just about any party can complete the game--what matters is that you have a good time doing it.
As for the kobolds... I think there was a secret entrance to the Firewine Dungeon that allows you to bypass most of the kobolds.

There is indeed a "back door" to the Firewine bridge dungeon:
Spoiler: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Go to Gullykin and look for Jenkal's Hut. You notice an odd smell (kobold's???). Confront him and search his hut for a secret door. Using the secret door dumps you smack into the ogre mages room at the back of the dungeon!
