Okay, I just completed the d*** first dungeon on a game that I had shadow-keepered to match the stats of my paladin character from BG1, and somehow, the portal key that you get in "Irenicus's lost love"s room claims to not be removable from my inventory...Is this a glitch, or soemthing that is supposed to happen? Should I just Shadowkeeper the thing out?

That's supposed to happen (since it's so crucial I guess). It should disappear when you leave the dungeon & arrive in Waukeen's Promenade, so if you still have it after that, feel free to ShadowKeeper it away. I generally just let Imoen pick it up so I don't have to worry about it.

I would also suggest that you put away SK completely until you've beaten the game at least once. Remember, you can always come back and play a hacked game, but you (obviously) only get one shot to run through the game for the first time legally.

Right-O Illumina! That was the plan...but I did want to play this one through WITH my original character...which was the only reason I pulled it out in the first place...but the temptation will not be that bad...unless I decide to just goof off for half an hour and then go back to really playing the game
