BG1-BG2:Tob with a half elf bard str 9, charisma 18, dex 9 (the basic class, no kits, soloing. Or as a half orc fighter with nine strength. Anyone tried this before?

some folks on the interplay boards did a 'nerfed' solo campaign where the maximum stat total was 53 iirc with no stats allowed above 17 and no permament stat-modifying items either

someone did a jester i think and the high bardic stat requirements in INT & CHA meant he had 5 strength and had to operate under a permanent strength spell just to carry loot

Bard wouldn't be impossible. Especially if it were a jester. The special song + invisibility is a very potent combo. Even the fighter, after doing a few messenger quests would be able to buy the girdle of hill giant strength and negate the strength disadvantage.

Try doing a diviner with as low INT as possible. Basically, you're operating off of scrolls with VERY poor spell selection. [img]smile.gif[/img]

EDIT] Noted you meant the trilogy. I would still say a diviner with as low INT as possible. The fighter can use bows for most of BG1, and the Bard will still be able to use spells, and wear half-decent armor until getting gauntlets of dex to be able to use ranged weapon. I think that mages would be the toughest, because DEX and STR can be boosted with items from Chapter 2, so leaving most classes in fine shape in terms of skills. Clerics are good enough at combat so that a simple hack off in terms of WIS won't hurt them too much; they can still limited buff and use melee. But a single-class specialist wizard with low INT is damn near useless.

hahahaand sorcerer the strongest:p...Just was curieus cause I play now solo with a assisan. I named him artemis entreri^^.This quite hard but its not impossible
