Azengaard tactical mod + Tactics v17

Good or bad, you answer the question!

Ok. I installed these two. Instead of thieves in CI level 1, I got RUNE ASSASSINS [img]tongue.gif[/img] Who seems to go in and out of invisibility at will and backstabbed me 4 times for like.. 33 damage each time. Lets say a solo mage had.. little chance

Now. Is that a product of tactics v17? Or the azengaard tactical mod found in the top of the forums mod list?

Also, I had these two installed.

CI opened with me standing in my cage:

The party has gained gold: 70
Your world map has been updated
The party has lost gold: 70

Then it drops into the cutscene... and then when it re-opens my char selection console and taskbar at the left and bottom bar are GONE. Vanished! : P

Now this is a real problem, since I could only return those bars when I pressed pause or was in inter-char dialogue. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Also, I'm fully patched. This has never occurred before. Is it just Azengaard?

If you want to know exactly what a mod does, read the readme. You should have anyway.

Tried the H bit, doesn't work. Had to uninstall my game.

I read the Azengaard readme SEVERAL times. But it's very short. It just explains that it adds a new area and changes a previously unused area to Chateau Irenicus. So no, it didn't help me. Not in the least :/

I've resorted as I said to uninstalling my game(3rd time in 2 days) and re-installing it and then trying to install the mods from scratch.

All the Weidu installs are updated to 153, so it's not a problem there.

Also: In the new tactics mod, it won't allow me to install the gnome fighter/illusionist in the docks district. What's up with that?

I know nothing about the Azengaard tactical mod, but I can assure you that what happened to your game wasn't the Tactics v17's doing. In CI level 1, Tactics 17 gets rid of Shadow thieves, and put Duergar warriors and wizards in. no rune assassins.

Try installing each part seperately I had the same problem and this worked for me.

Sorry for bringing this a bit old topic back up but I was searching for the same thing. In the readme of tactics it says the rune assassins are put in instead of the goblin encounters.

The rune assassins are quite hard IMO, with a party and some trying I did okey but without I wouldn't know how to do enough damage or stop them.
