Righty i've heard that there is a Lich that is only accessible by use of a rogue stone...sooooo! would someone be able to give me a list of all the Lichs in Athalka? so i can go spank their buttocks and nick all their shiney stuff!!

Done a few of them, just forget where the rest are!

Hmm let me think; theres one in the Old Tunnels beneath the Temple District, usually one in Ghoul Town (depends on your level i believe), 2 in the Bridge District (one requires the rogue stone you mentioned), 1 hidden in the Crooked Crane (City Gates), kangaxx in the Docks District.... none others come to mind at the moment

2) Temple Sewers
3) Bridge District
4) Twisted Rune
5) Kangaxx
6) Nether Scroll Quest
7) Deirex
8) Imprisonment Machine, Underdark

Dependant on your Level:

1) Ghoul Town
2) Temple Ruins( two of them)
3) Spellhold

This is purely from memory, so there might be more... ...

You are referring to the Twisted Rune, which is a party led by a Lich, Shandalar. You will find their lair next to the house where the guys who buried Tirdir were located (you'll find it on dragon_lord's map).

Actually, the Lich in the temple sewers I have only encountered soloing. I have never once ran into him with a party. I believe he is level dependant.

I think Dundee was referring to the lich that you can awaken in the Temple Sewers, one who is necessary to lead you to Kangaxx.

Oooh ok... I thought he was talking about the one that pops up in the tunnel after you get ambushed by spiders and before you reach the bridge with riddles.

Right, the permanent lich in the sewers (in the Unseeing Eye area) is the Shade Lich, one of the Netheril Mages guarding the remains of Kangaxx. He won't appear until you "awaken" him.

Lich? There?!

I play with the "Always toughest random encounters" mod and I've never stumbled upon any Lich in that area. Only ones in the Unseeing eye is the Shade Lich and the one in the Undead town.

I have had him pop up there a few times... Usually escorted by a few greater mummies. The first time I met him was when I was still very new to the game. I was running a solo Skald, on a whim. I met this funny looking dancing fella and the screen went all black and I could not do anything. I learned a lot that day.
