new party, who should i hav?

right, i was gonna do a new party via multiplayer.
my main char will b a human ranger.
now i want a paladin (cavalier) and a thief/ fighter. now wot npc's should i hav?
i definately want aerie and imoen, but u may think this sad, but i really h8 hurting other peoples feelings (yes even if they r computer generated [img]tongue.gif[/img] )
now i'm not sure about Jaheira. while a good fighter, she holds back ur romance with aerie. does anyone here think having anomen would b ok?
so i am saying:
Anomen or Jaheira???
plz votwe quickly cos now i've completed the game i'm itching to hav another bash with a different party.
another question :
Can Jaheira summon skeletons?
i was thinking of going anomen cos he can summon skeleton warriors but i dont know sooo!
Plz help guyz (especially more experienced ones that hav played with varieties of pcs and npcs [img]tongue.gif[/img] )

I say, pick Jaheira.

They both have about equal fighting capabilities, with a slight advantage to Anomen due to better weapon selection (Flail of Ages and Crom Faeyr VS. Blackblood and Belm... Hmmm... ) and the possible use of Righteous Magic.
But bashing power shouldn't be a problem for your party - a Ranger, a Cavalier, a Fighter/Thief and a Fighter/Druid are more than enough.
On the other hand, Jaheira can bring to the party something that Anomen can't - Druidic spells.
The clerical side is already covered by Aeire, so Anomen's clerical side will be redundant.
You will learn to love her Ironskins, Insect Plagues and Fire Elementals as the game goes on. [img]smile.gif[/img]

And no, Jaheira can't summon Skeletons, but Aeire and Imoen can. [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you DO leave him in that cage somebody should take your Rangering license away! It's a bit heartless to tell a fellow ranger to find his own way out, and it's infinitely worse to let him die in a prison cell! So, it would be a Good Thing™ to help him escape. If you don't want him soaking up experience I believe you can departy him and tell him "Wait here," then come get him when it's time to leave.

hell yeah! rangers dont have licence, what do you think of them TAXI DRIVERS?

anyway, youre askin if youll let the BOO master rot in his cage,,, well think of yourself in his position.

i actually prefer the girls than the boys in the game.

the three beauties are great company specially aeire *she's the BOMB.

make your party in minimal npcs to save xps. dont take anomen... for me he's a d!(%head. you dont need another tank in your party because youre already a ranger... all you need is a team of angels swaying by your side with their bow and slings.

here's my party if ill have a ranger pc.

ranger (a good tank)

aerie (heals you and does a lot of incantatem) with the girdle of strength, she can also wield axes and some sorth.

Jaheira ( i love her bears) good choice of magic and will have multiple abilities in the later period of your journey. a good wife as well

nalia (at least shes a partial mage that can cast humungous offensive magic) good with bow and arrow

[Balhifet]

Take Anomen, he maybe a lousy NPC but a good cleric. He can cast level 7 cleric spells compared to Aerie (her XP is divided between MAGE/CLERIC levels).

Jan Jansen is a good Thief and an exellent illusionist.

Keldorn with the gloves of DEX is good.

Keldorn and Anomen have some gratifying banters IF you turn Anomen Lawful Good.

Aside from that, Keldorn is very useful as a tank, since he's an inquisitor. Jan is an alright mage and thief, and his dialogue is to die for.

Having pretty much experienced all the romances, I've grown tired of their grating personalities.

[Balhifet]

Aerie is the sweetest.
Viconia is the horniest (in human terms).

These are the only two NPCz that I involve myself with.
