Hi Peeps,
Could anyone advise. I have just started installed BG2 again, and after getting to De'Arnise Hold its asking for disk 3.....noooo! I DIDNT DO A FULL INSTALL DOH! I cant put up with all this disk swapping so im going to uninstall and fully reinstall. I know I need to backup my 'save' folder but was wondering if anything else would need backingup?

Any help greatly apreshed,

Yucca.

Just the "save" folder, and the installers for the patches (if you kept the installers, that is)
Note that when you uninstall, it keeps some things- manual.pdf , save folder, anything you added to the override directory, and probably one or two other things that I forget. If you uninstall it, it will keep what you need if you want to reinstall, BUT, move all of that stuff off that drive first (backup to floppy disk if you need to), because having it there can cause some problems with the reinstall.
Also make sure that you run the Official Patch before you uninstall, because there is a registry problem associated with the installer which the patch fixes

You could try copying each CD to a %gameroot%\CDi folder where i is the number of the CD. Think it will work.

It should work, if you also hack around inside the ini files. Its not difficult, most of its in plain english and you should be able to figure out what needs to be done.

I saw a guide somewhere but I cant remember what year I saw it in much less what site.
