I would just like to know what level all of you were at the end. My main character was a monk and maxed out at level 40 LONG before the end.

Erm, I believe it is safe to say that most players hit the Xp cap by the end of ToB.

Did you max out with six members in your party. When I played a six member party I was not even close. Well i guess it was close to level 30. I always thought with out exploting the exp. respawing monsters that you could never make it to level 40. You would think the already bad game balance would be alot worse.
And playing a solo game as you all know you can max out before leaving the underdark.

The TOB designers designed it so that a person with 6 people would reach around 5-6 million xp. They just added such a high xp cap so you couldn't hit it with 6 people.

With my first 6 man wrecking crew, I got to 6.75 million XP, which wasn't bad.
But every party I've run with 5 or less has either come incredibly close or has hit the XP cap.

See that is why I asked, I did it with a 6 person party. I did not cheat either. What I did do, is do every single quest there is to do (that I knew about) and defeat every enemy I possibly could. Needless to say, my main character was not multiclassed.

I maxed out BG2 in the underdark. I then stopped playing till I could install TOB and maxed that one some time later.

LOL...playing 2 to 4 hours per day and 8-10 over weekend days, it took me close to 4 months to finish BG2 and TOB. That is why I never pay any attention to developers of a game when they state how many "playing hours" there are in a game.

Maybe it was because I left some of the quests for later so that I could level up Imoen( all-female party of six).

I can hit the ToB Exp cap in Saradush though. Heh, heh, heh, heh... ...
