I found this petition for mastectomy post operative treatment and having gone through it with it for my wife at age 38 ( double mastectomy after 2nd round of breast cancer and 2 different sets of reconstructive surgeries). For those who have never had to deal with it, the insurance companies treat it as out patient and will allow the patient to stay at most 23.5 hours in post op after the surgery. We had to deal with multiple sets of drains, tape reactions, anesthesia reactions where she fell going to the bathroom ( she told me she was ok to walk and I should get some sleep up +25 hrs at hospital and home) and nearly tore out the stitches, and many other issues that could have been avoided if she was allowed to stay another day.
This act will cause the insurance companies to make it a mandatory 48 hour stay. Please sign the petition to help others. http://www.mylifetime.com/community/...ancer-petition Thanks

I signed. Hey Ung -- just pick the city you want to be from and this site will give you the zip.
Also, I'm gonna piggyback on this thread to plug www.thebreastcancersite.com Just visit daily & click on a button. Sponsors donate money based on the number of clicks. The money goes to pay for free mammograms.

For a zip code, pick a five-digit number. "00" is not allowed as the first two digits, but anything else goes.
A couple of places I know of... Detroit - 48221 Atlanta - 33033 San Francisco - 94949 Mt Laurel, NJ - 08054 Dover, DE - 19904
