Sunglass Man DC Help Online

I've posted the DC Help online. It's not Official, but it is a hint of things to come.

We are discussing a help Wiki, this would be different from the current Wiki, just because that is so frickin' hard to format. But, it may be part of it - if I can find something better to be hosted at SF, I will migrate the current Wiki to it. Another option on the table will be an html versioin hosted on SF and maintained by me (happily accepting submissions from the DC community) with regular updates.
Whether we choose a Wiki, or something more static, there will be a pdf version periodically made available with the most recent updates.

PLease, give me some feedback and let me know what you think.

Looks good to me - easy to navigate and quick to load!

As long as things are easy to use, it should be nice and fun to find people to update/edit.

I forgot to mention in the initial post, but this is not the "new" help documents that I've been working on.

I hope people want to help. That makes it more fun for me.

The great part about this kind of format is that it's really modular, so people can tackle an area to work on that is exactly sized to what they want to do.

I do plan on making some cosmetic changes to the index, but nothing that should slow it down - I just want to reorganize and maybe add links to all of the section heads at the top of the page so I can move from 4 columns to 3 (or not, I haven't decided).

I'm also logged onto SF right now, trying to find out about other Wiki options there or on the Ofiicial site.

Yeah - I recognized some of the text from the Help in the program...

Hopefully once I understand the workings of the editor a bit more I will have something to write in the help documents...

If this gets going, I don't know what I'll do with my help project...I could substitute some from one to the other I suppose. Or, I could just put out my own on my site.

Well - no need to write the same stuff twice, I think... You definitely know DC inside and out, so I would hope that you took the reigns, so to speak (me and others could help)...

Whichever version of the Help project ends up being the official one, I plan on being the editor-in-chief, so to speak, as well as the main contributor, unless someone else is feeling particularly prodigious.

My Help project takes a different spin on Help - one that is more standard actually. I will definitely be able to use some of it in the current help docs and vice versa. What I've done so far is mostly not covered in the current help.

I also want to do a help document for the engine/player and I want to do a Monster Manual of hte default monster database, a grimoire of hte default spell database and a catalog of the item database.
