Looking for some dual classing "tricks"
I'm currently playing a Berserker who will dual class to Mage at level 13 (I'm currently level 11).
Other than kicking out my party members (other than Jaheira, who I'm romancing) and then memorizing as many spells as possible, what tricks can be used for some quick XP gain? TIA

have you got tactics installed?
spirit trolls on my install often give 24K xp each - 12k when you knock them down and 12k when you fire/acid them to death (not always though - about 75% of the time i reckon) the ones in d'arnise hold respawn . . . also - stop collecting quest rewards - finish the quest but don't report back - talk to the quest giver after you've dualled over |

To be honest, if you're in a party you don't have to level up him fast. Just play normally babysitting him and keeping him out of harm's way, and before you'll know it he'll be strong enough to continue playing normally.
