Winking Ten Things Reality TV Won't Tell You...

Here's some interesting reading from the folks at Smart Money. Nothing really earthshattering in there, but I thought it was interesting enough to look at and share...

Yup.. On the Big Brother Feeds, sometimes the diary room will ask a house guest to put on their clothes from an earlier diary room session so they can get more footage (that will look like it was shot in the same moment).. They shake their heads at big brother, and say how silly and fake it is, but in the end, they have to do it.

The diary room even asks HG's to say certain things.. and when to evict someone--this past season 2 HG's were kinda pushed towards voting out one over the other (the other was a popular HG, and that means ratings) and they didn't like that.

But over all, most of BB is real.. (Sometimes they are told to clap and be energetic right before a comp, if they are not loud enough, or look excited enough, they want a re-shoot--and they say "we need more energy guys". I've heard that before on the feeds, then in goes to blackout (which happens during comps, or whenever they talk with them, but they sometimes slip up sometimes)

But I do believe that some HOHs and Veto comps are sometimes tailored towards someone--when they want/need a hg they like to win.. I may be wrong, but whatever... who knows. I still love to watch.
