Default The Seeker: Darkness is Rising

I saw the poster and thought...that looks like a good way to spend my evening.

Boy, was I wrong. First, its not even rated here in the states because it is already TV worthy and in no need of a rating. Next, this must be an adaptation from a book, but it did not translate well onto the big screen because I did not much like it...and I think all of you know how little I critique anything. Yet this one got me because I feel I wasted my money. I rank it on the same level as Bridge to Terabithia...

There was one or two scenes, like when the attractive girl who turns out to be a traitor and working for the Dark throws back her hood and gives this menacing scowl and is about to go do bad for the first time, I was thinking...yeah! Now we're gonna at least see some cool magic, but NO! Not a cussing thing!

Yeah I saw the poster and some screeenshots online and I thought it looked cheesy in a bad way. I still plan to see it anyway because I still watch every movies in this genre, but I'm not expecting much.

Just a head's up then...it is not set in a "swords and dragons" time, rather modern-day with some mild time travel. It is a Harry Potterish feel of a kid who turns a certain age and becomes important and thinks that its cool.
