Default event triggers

the list of event triggers is very detailed and useful. But I don't know if all of them work. Has there been any way to test the triggers "party detecting traps" and "party can see invisible"? I mean, I want to use traps and trap detection; but I don't know how to set up this so it would set off the trigger of "party detecting traps"

Arghhh.... I had just written out a nice, thorough response, and I "timed out" (lost my connection until I relogin) and it all went away when I hit send...

So, here's the brief version:
There is no list of what works and what doesn't.
Off of the top of my head, don't use any special ability triggers or triggers taht refernece them (such as 'Sees Invisible').
I don't know about detecting traps, it should work - there is an easy way to find out, though.

When I'm done writing the scripts, I will be devoting myself to testing of what we've done for about 85% of my DC time (working on the documentation the rest of it). I will be making a list for my use and Paul's use. I will be more than willing to share it with you and anyone else who would like to know. At some point, un-needed triggers will probably be removed.

As for "Sees Invisible" (and "Invisible") I have already created SAs for them and a lot more. I haven't updated them to the beta testing site, though, as no one appears to be beta testing right now - or at least if they are, they're not sharing any results with Paul and I. In short, no reports = no updates.

I usually write out my longer posts in a blank Word document, then copy and paste them into the thread's reply box. That would avoid problems with this forum's very restrictive time out function.

I used to do that, but found that it meant that I responded to a lot less things on the internet. Besides, my various webmail accounts and the other forums I frequent "save" what I'm working on in the browser cache, but for some reason, Ironworks doesn't.
