Holy ***t! That is an amazing car!

112 mph in FIRST gear, 1500 lbs total weight, 0-60 in 3 seconds and 170 mpg!

Don't let Ford or GM anywhere NEAR it. By the time those yokels get done with it, it will weight 3500 pounds, get 17 mpg, go from 0-60 in 13 seconds, have 23 cup holders, a 3 speed auto matic gearbox and will have a top speed of 100 mph. But you'll be able to get in any color you want and have 12 different upholstery options.

Amazing how my Ford gets about 30 MPG and it's an SUV.

Yep (actually, it's a Mercury Mariner Hybrid, which is just a dressed up Ford Escape).

That's an Ariel Atom chassis... the car I've rated "most likely to get the wife pissed at me for buying". I want one. In the states you can get them with a 300hp GM powerplant... that's an 1100 pound car with 300 ponies (thats a GM powerplant BTW, the very nice ECOTEC), that's sport bike power to weight, but it handles a heck of a lot better than any sport bike ever dreamed of.

For the price of Vette you can own a car that will demolish just about any street legal car in the world on a road course... those crazy Brits!

The gas version goes to 60 in well under 3 seconds, and run 0-100-0 faster than anything costing less than a million or two.

I'd still take the Ferrari.

Owning a Ferrari isn't about the car. It's about proving your manhood by spending an obscene amount of money on a car. While the other car may be fast, it doesn't enhance your penis nearly as much as an exotic.
