Ok Iw's, to overcome my retinal hemorrhaging disability, my employer has given me a budget restraint of $150.00 to purchase a natural light style reading lamp for my cubicle.

I have researched many, and as the internet would have it, they are all the "best product". So, I ask of thee to please shed some light onto this subject.

I'm really liking the "full spectrum solutions Blue Max 70 watt, dimmable reading lamp".

Ott?
Tensor?
Verilux?

A quick google provides....

Comparison of a handful of lamps, in and out of your price range:

A study from AFB, who are "Technology and People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired":

From the Assistive Technology Journal:

Don't know if that helps or not, but it learned me a couple of things...

"retinal hemorrhaging disability"? As in you bleed profusely out of your eye(s)?

Man, that just *sounds* painful...hope there's some way to correct it.

MILD. No I don't bleed from my eyes, lol, hell, I don't bleed, but I do chip, crack, and break!

It causes my eyes to swell, turn red, and basically looks as thou I could start bleeding from them at any moment, but "knock-knock" they haven't yet. The condition is intensified with prolonged reading and writing under artificial light conditions, and especially so with commercial grade fluorescent type.

What makes it worse, is they are light sensitive, and I have worn sunglasses of varying degrees for the last 16 or so years.

BTW: Got the Ott-Light Vero lamp. WOW!
