Here for you, i have a tale of the bloodiest sort, that of a man whose comrades all died at his misdirections. It began in high hedge, where the "Hero" of our tale bought two scrolls of protection from petrification. Then he and his comrades, Jaheira, Khalid, Imoen, and Garrick, proceeded to Durlags tower, a danger frought place rumored of in legend.

There he sent Jaheira ahead to lure two battle horrors away, little did the Druid know that she had been sent to a dead end, and her death.

Then into the front gate and up the stairs the remaining 4 adventurers travelled. Imoen disarmed a damaging, stunning trap, and Garrick cast the two scrolls upon the "Hero" and Imoen. To the roof of the tower the four went, both Khalid and Garrick were sent to battle a Lesser Bassilisk where, sadly, they both got stoned.

Up the outer stairs our "Hero" and his sister went. Up to the top where 2 Greater Bassilisks lay in wait. There Imoen strode forward bravely with our "Hero" in tow, where she was struck down by a fireball trap, her body so mangled as to make her unraisable.

There to her body our "Hero" strode, ignoring the gaze of the Bassilisks, to pick up a magical sword. He left the Tower behind as he traveled to Nashkel to purchase some healing, some potions and to have his Scimitar +2 identified.

And that my friends is "Victory". For some at least.

Oh...you didn't mention that earlier. So, you sent in a level one party to retrieve some fun items for your adventures. Hey, can't blame you there! Good show!
