What do i profency my mage in?

Should i profency staff and sling ...staff and dagger.....or dagger and sling ? i cant decide i need to know if there is a good sling with bullets!

Best advice is to just play the game and check it out, but since you really want people to meddle in your gaming experience, I advise staff and sling. Slings are awsome and if you download a certain file somewhere you can get a merchant that will sell you a sling that needs no ammo.

cool, but is that cheating??? no offense. My Mage is so cruddy with weapons(so is any other mage) so i don;t see the point in asking (there ain't much choices, is there? and they gain proficencies so slow)

Merlin downloading the bonus merchants isn't cheating; it's merely leveling the playing field for those who net play with people who have those merchants items.

Also Familiers i am allways lawfull good so i get a pusuedo dragon he has blur as his start spell do they lvl up and learn more spells?

Do they Evolve into bigger dragons?

And why does he keep asking for apples what will this do to him?

Tom don't double post. I don't think you can do a thing about your dragons wish for apples. Without the bonus merchants your best sling is found in one of the early side quests. I forget what it is call though. The familiars do not evolve (this is Baldur's Gate not Pokemon) or get any more powerful to my knowledge.
