Using version 2.2.8 for windows. Every time I try to do anything with folders this error message pops up and gimp dies. Does anyone know how to fix this?
 And that "Virhe" on the top of the box roughly translates as "Error".

It has to do something with the fonts you're using and gtk. Here's a link with a proposed solution:
