I use Opera 7.54 to browse with. I don't use an AV programme (bar the occasional scan to be prudent) but I have Kerio Personal Firewall to block unwanted processes from running and stop any malicious traffic. I use WinXP Professional for normal use and Mandrake Linux for work because I trust the filesystem more.

Firefox, McAfee (this is the most annoying AV program there is, it pops up every 4 hours with some new update and keeps dsturbing my games and slowing them down! ), and WinXP

Browser: firefox, IE for my ICT class's website and windows updates
AV: AVG antivirus IIRC there's another antivirus with similar letters but I use the free one.
I have windows milennium and I don't think of buying another version. No more money for m$ I'd rather give that money to some linux projects.
