I have already voted, but I have to mention the all time greatest RPG, Quest for Glory it has one of the more indepth character development systems, great story and playability its just a shame its so dated now

QFG, at least the early ones were more adventure games than RPG. Still I'd have to agree with you that QFG is one of the best series of all time.

i like the game ultima underworld in fact i just found the disc for it again so i might start playing it tonight, but that is one of my fav non infinity engines

No kidding, the Ultima Underworld games were very nice to play. Quite advanced for there time and pretty good storyline...

Im not a big fan of the regular ultima series, it just seemed to be kind of lame to me but the stygian abyss is a pretty fun game, even though i never managed to beat it, but then again i havent played it in years so i guess ill see if i still like it

i liked Final Fantasy II, and Secret of Mana, both for Super Nintendo. oh, and Breath of Fire too. Pretty much ANY squaresoft RPG for SUPER NES.
