Imagine you could pick any weapon, fictional non fictional. What would you pick and what would you use it for? (Of course you would use it for *purely* law enforcement purposes right? )

I would pick a caster. This nifty little energy gun only holds one shell, but that's really all you need. There are elven types of shells, and every one has a different effect. Gotta love the instant death #9, or the highly explosive #11.

Now what would I use it for? I would probably just use it for self defense. It would be my trump card if I ever got into a nasty situation.

Excalibur, I suppose, as long as I had the sheath that came with it. The sword literally guaranteed victory in every battle: kind of neat, if you were facing rows of tanks. And the sheath guaranteed immunity from attack to the wearer.

But a better weapon might be the ability to enforce that, somehow, all parties to a conflict fully understood both their foes' reasons and the probable consequences of their actions. Such a mystical weapon would insure there'd be damn few conflicts.

Knowledge... Power... quick tongue... Nah, those are too boring

Maybe a magical hammer with which you can forge other magical items? Too much trouble...
Any magical weapon is useless here, 'cause magic like that dun work in this world. Though they would look cool above the hearth.

Sci-fi weapon it is then.

Wouldn't want it to destroy half a town with one shot though, so something not too powerful. I don't want a heavy weapon either, 'cause that's tiring. But if it's too small I'd lose it
Wouldn't want it to be noticed all the time, so something common.

Come to think of it, I'm not much of a killer, so a stunning weapon is enough for me.

I know!
A simple, short, wooden club!
euh.. you'd think I could get better

Maybe I should think on it some more...

A rusty metal trophy trout studded with nails and covered in strawberry juice that fires deathrays from its eyes and sings Britney Spears songs all day.
Why? Just cause!

I'd like a living vessel in geosynchronous orbit above my position, outfitted with all the goodies, advanced cloaking, transwarp and temporal drives, teleporter, shield projection, and an array of attack options. She would be linked to me via a cybernetic implant and integrated into my consciousness at a high level. She would "of course" be capable of autonomous operations but for some reason would like having me around (as opposed to most other women )

I would like some sort of super suit that protected me from everthing and could creatte missle type projectile weapons as well as any blade type weapon just by my thinking about it. the suit would be a living creature that would work along with my body making us both stronger, but it would never be able to come off. i mean it would recede into my body if i needed to shower or something. it would be a little like the the thing VENOM had in the spiderman comics, except way cooler and a whole lot more powerful, and it wouldnt try to control me. and of course I would use it for my ultimate goal of world domination.
