whats the worst way youve ever been shot down

basically whats the worst way you have ever been shot down by the opposite sex (or same sex depending on your preference)?
The worst thing that ever happened to me was when I was at a bar with a couple friends and there were some girls looking over our way kind of checking us out and stuff for about an hour, so being the only non-antisocial member of the group I was in I went over to spark up a conversation. So i get over and there and Im like "Hey Ive seen you girls sitting here for awhile, and I was just wondering what kind of guy would keep a bunch of pretty girls like you waiting all night." (pretty lame I know but some of us are good at that sort of thing and some of us aren't. Its pretty obvious which category I fit into, but it never hurts to try.) so at saying that the two girls looked at each other and the one replied "well what kind of guy is your friend, we've been waiting for him to come talk to us all night?" (needless to say it was pretty harsh, but at least my one friend got a date for the following weekend.)

Actually, it can, especially if the line you delivered was that bad, and if any of the women are especially good with non-weapons based attacks.

General rule of thumb, drawing upon past experience (and for what it's worth): Always approach a woman, not a woman in a group to strike up a conversation, and especially, never approach a group of women with a bad line. They quickly gain the impression, rightly or wrongly, that you have no interest in any of them individually, but only as a sort of collective sex object. In turn, they see you as a sort of diseased animal that should be put down as swiftly as the laws will permit. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Heh. One time I was sitting in my favorite pub, and there were these two girls that I thought were interested in me. Looking at me and stuff. One of them was really attractive, so with great effort I summon up the courage to go and talk to them. I can't remember what I said, but it can't have been that bad. Anyway, they give me this long, hard stare and then, without a word, they start snogging each other, groping each other's breasts and all. That was very embarrasing. Very rude too, af you ask me. I mean, they could've just SAID that they were lesbian...

you know come to think of it i get shot down a pretty decent amount, but then again i always hit on ladies way out of my league, but even on a bad day 1 out of 3 is usually interested, so by the law of probability one is bound to be interested, if I hit on enough women.

Worst way I been shot down is when I approached a girl smiled and used my best line then it went like this.
Girl- Are you Kieran's brother?
Me- (Worried tone) Er.... yes, why?
Girl- I'm his girlfriend.

CLASSIC COME BACK LINE - ALL MEN MUST READ

This was told to me by a friend, it helps you retain some dignity after such an unfortunate event. Once you have made your poor excuse for a line and been snubbed in some manner just say to the lovely lady in question:

"Don't be picky - I wasn't.".

Then you can walk back to your friends a hero rather than a loser.
