Well, hmm, right now i would have to go with Drizzt, why you might ask, such an already great. hero.. Well one thing majorly; He is a very oportunistic hero, claasical good, succeding with what he does, have a good sence of thinking without being boring. He fights odds everywhere and can see his wrongs and move on. After reading Hobbs, Dragonbone Chair, Jordan I got tired with fumbling hereos, daft boys ho where only at the right place at the right time. Staggering swooning and failures if you looked at it real hard. Well, I could be such a hero with some luck, but how fun would that be?? Naeh, neaded to read about a real hero, in the Fesit books, Pug, Tomas and Naktor where such hereos.

Well Conan is an al favourite high there too. I guess that this changes cause for example in HP Lovecrafts books the hereo is frightned and afraid and someties dies.. Well, you can probably get fed up with most hereo types after awhile.

Drizzt though have come far now and thus is in the top spot!

Thomas Covenant. A leper. One of the most complex and contradictory characters in fiction. The reader even loathes him while relating to him, which is just the point, Covenant loathes himself, and throughout history lepers have been outcasts of every society. Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Donaldson is a master.

O.K..... what do I do now?

Anne Rice's Lestat (and Memnoch, of COURSE!) are very richly detailed characters. But the one I really fell in love with was Pandora, from the book Pandora.
