In the Google window type google.earth. You'll get instructions to DL about 10M of progrm. The porgram will give you a map of most places and or a sattelite picture.

That's because one of you crazy Aussies moved when they took the picture...

It's a good program, I've had it a while. You can even see the difference in the Selhurst Park stands and some of the tiny streets around this area that are so small that normal Atlases struggle to fit the street name in. Some areas are higher definition than others. Australia gets a bum deal, Sydney as mentioned is not great, all the bays and coves are listed but no streets, can't see the bridge or opera house either. Other places like Darwin aren't even listed. Great prog though, my version is I think a beta, dunno if there's been a final release.

Where as places like London are in fine detail and same with the North Korea. Guess we know who is taking the pictures via the spy satelites LOL

New york has good detail and 3D buildings

It's blurred at first because the map is being loaded from the net.

Good program but it would be cool if the maps loaded faster...

Oh! Why would that be? I noticed the areas 500 metres south of Selhurst park are blurred but Selhurst itself is pristine...You can see the cars on the streets and even the 3 arrows painted on the mini roundabout at Clifton road. I can understand military installations etc which would be miniscule dots on the map being blurred....but most of Australia!? A lot of the blurred images I think are to do with the time of day and weather conditions when the satellite took the shot.

I think it's still a beta program, dunno.
